St Thomas’ tipped to double up

AFTER 72 intriguing games awash with drama and scores galore, it’s the exact same heavyweight final pairing as in 2018 with Liam Mellows and St Thomas’ still standing in the quest for Tom Callanan Cup honours and locking horns once more on Sunday at Pearse Stadium (throw-in 2.30pm).
While it may be a long way from a novel decider, there can be little doubt that the two best teams in the competition have reached the final hurdle despite both suffering stumbles on course.
