THE decision by nominees Francis Forde, Noel Larkin and Tony Ward to withdraw their names ahead of prospective interviews for the vacant Galway senior hurling manager job has left the County Board with no option but to restart their search.

Meanwhile it’s understood that the Galway hurlers met up at the weekend for an informal meeting and a serious level of dissatisfaction exists within the camp with the County Board.
