Thousands set to view parades in galways towns and villages

PARADES of all shapes and sizes will take place around Galway’s towns and villages next Tuesday from Ahascragh to Athenry and Tuam to Glenamaddy.
No matter what the weather brings, nothing will dampen our spirits this St Patrick’s Day. Unless you are among the thousands travelling to Croke Park, keep with tradition by taking part in or watching the parade, kitting the kids out in a bit of green, and giving the shamrock a good old shake.
