Docs to rock Kilconly ahead of summer tour

Pearse back after 22 years!

THE Saw Doctors are making a return to Kilconly at the end of the month before they set off on their mini-European and American tours.

Back on stage after 22 years is bass player Pearse Doherty, whose guest appearance during the West Awake concerts in Tuam last year received a huge response.

Now the Donegal native is back with Leo Moran and Davy Carton for full shows and there are certainly plenty of them for fans to look forward to.

While it has already been confirmed that the band won’t be playing Tuam this summer, they will perform at the Galway Arts Festival on July 27 and 28, with both shows already sold out.

However, locals will get the chance to see them in what has become their warm-up venue of choice — The Venue in Kilconly on Wednesday, May 29.

Tickets for The Saw Doctors gig in Kilconly go on sale this Friday, May 10, at 1pm from www.onlinetickets.ie.
