Second annual north galway tractor run to boost hospice coffers

BARNADERG is set to host its second annual North Galway Tractor Run with all proceeds going to support the work of Galway Hospice.
Hundreds of tractors, from vintage to modern models, are expected to take to the roads around the village on Sunday, March 1 at 1 pm.
Last year’s inaugural event saw over 220 tractors take part, raising €9,315 for the palliative care unit at Aras Mhuire in Tuam.
This year, the organising committee have planned the same 33-mile route that will take in Moylough, Mountbellew, Menlough, Monivea, Abbeyknockmoy and back to Barnaderg.
