Beat on the street for beat in the Stadium

IT WAS beat on the street as much as beat in the Stadium when the Tuam Sugar Beat Festival was launched on Friday.
People attending the event were greeted outside by The Bambanova Street Band complete with fire eaters and jugglers. Indoors there was more music as one of the newest and youngest acts scheduled to perform at the festival, Authors and Illustrators, show cased their talent.
The full line-up for the Sugar Beat festival was announced with Damien Dempsey and Mundy the main attractions for the one day event. There will be two stages in operation in Tuam Stadium, where the festival will take place on Saturday August 23.
