Brendan looking forward to solo career after Eurovision frenzy

“LIFE is full of knocks” says Tuam's Brendan Murray who has returned home after a frantic two weeks of Eurovision frenzy.
While the 20-year-old singer is disappointed not to have made it through to the Eurovision final he is overwhelmed by the support he received from home and throughout Europe during his Kyiv experience.
Speaking to The Tuam Herald shortly after he returned this week Brendan says he took missing out on a place in the final “on the chin”.
“It was a brilliant and mad two weeks. It has been an incredible experience and the support I've received has been phenomenal,” said Brendan. His catch up time with mum and dad, Frank and Julianne, was brief as he travelled to Dublin early on Tuesday morning to be a guest judge in the Junior Eurovision competition.
Ireland's entry Euro 2017 'Dying To Try' got a mixed reaction but the ballad was popular among the crowds watching in Kyiv and already the song is Number 1 in Armenia and in the Top 5 in Slovenia.

For now Brendan is looking forward to working on his solo career.
