Glenamaddy murder accused sent for trial
A BOOK of evidence was presented to a defendant charged with the murder of a non-national in Glenamaddy last July. Det Sergeant Michael O'Driscoll presented the book of evidence on Tuesday at Tuam Court. [private] Glenamaddy-based Latvian national Sergejs Krauze of 12 Dudley Heights, Glenamaddy is charged with the murder of Juris Bols. The murder took place between July 7 and July 23 last at a place unknown. Tom O'Donoghue solr (defending) made a request for one senior and one junior counsel to represent his client. He also asked for the book of evidence and all documentation relevant to the case to be translated into Russian. Judge Geoffrey Browne gave the defendant the alibi warning and remanded him in custody. He returned him for trial at the current sitting of the Central Criminal Court. [/private]
