Headford host men's NCT Health Day

THE SOLAS Family Resource Centre in Headford are hosting their annual Men’s NCT Health Day next Wednesday June 17 from 4pm to 8pm.

Taking place in St Furseys Hall Headford, the free event is an ideal opportunity for men of all ages to get themselves checked out while learning more about health and fitness.

It will be an opportunity to meet representatives from Croí, Healthy Galway, the Marie Keating Foundation, Chime, Sexual Health West, Alcoholics Anonymous, Mental Health Ireland and Gamblers Anonymous.

Attendees can also benefit from free health and fitness checks that will look at their blood pressure, cholesterol, as well as testing for Diabetes and HIV.

“We all know how important regular health checks are – especially as we get older,” stated John Middleton, Manager of Solas Family Resource Centre.

“Wednesday June 17 is your chance to check the essentials and talk to the team about general health issues. After all, why should your car get all the love? Do a Men’s NCT.”
