Allow walkers to walk on Tuam railway line

HOPES of reinstating pedestrian access along a section of the railway line in Tuam have grown after Galway County Council agreed to make a request to Irish Rail and the Minister for Transport.
The matter came before this week’s council meeting where Cllr Donagh Killilea said restrictions in the area in recent months are causing problems in the town.
