Beware of bogus ‘spring cleaners’
Beware of bogus ‘spring cleaners’

THE Gardai locally are advising members of the public to be aware of bogus callers who are offering their services to “spring clean” their houses.
They are advising anyone who may have an elderly relative living alone to warn them to be cautious when dealing with anyone calling to their door offering to clean gutters or fix anything around their house.
Do not part with any money and always ask for identification, say the Gardai, asking people to take note of any vehicles acting suspiciously and report them.
