A NEW company is to be established to support and market plans to develop a greenway linking Athenry to Milltown along the disused railway line.

Members of the Tuam steering group behind the Quiet Man Greenway Campaign met earlier this month to develop a strategy for the year ahead.

In conjunction with their counterparts in Athenry, the group is to set up a company with a board of directors to represent Athenry, Ballyglunin, Tuam and Milltown as the key locations along the proposed route.
