Liam Kelly won Tuam Stadium car
THE success of the DAfTS drive for the development of Tuam Stadium was reflected in the large attendance at the draw on Sunday morning, in which well known monumental sculptor Liam Kelly of Bishop Street was drawn as the winner of the Opel Astra car.
A total of almost €300,000 has now been raised by DAfTS (Development Advocates for Tuam Stadium) with the most recent draw contributing €137,000.
This has more than covered the cost of the present phase of the project, building the new dressing rooms.
