A year down the road

THE Tuam Bypass has seen traffic increase by 2,000 vehicles per day since it first opened just over a year ago.
Traffic is also increasing on the M17-M18 motorway routes which also became operational at the end of last September.

Interestingly, figures from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) show that fewer motorists are using the traditional commuter routes to the city via Claregalway and the Headford Road.
