VIDEO: Golden buzzer for Brendan

TUAM’S Brendan Murray got his golden ticket to the next round of The X Factor in the form of a Golden Buzzer from his mentor Louis Tomlinson.

Brendan is straight through to Judges Houses after his emotional performance of the REM song Everybody Hurts wowed the audience and the four judges.

Simon Cowell had high praise for the young man from Tuam who has described his appearance on the show on Sunday evening as his most emotional performance ever.

Five other singers will join Brendan as the final six in the boys category. They will all have to perform for Louis who will then decide who he brings to the live shows
