LEO Moran, Bridie Higgins and Padraig Stevens collaborated on a digital project on her life in America.

Bridie brought it all back home for Padraig and Leo

AN innovative online cultural project, involving local artists in Galway nursing homes and care centres, was recently unveiled and will see the release of a series of digital arts vignettes reflecting on the lives of residents.
Funded by Creative Ireland and Galway City Council, and brought together by The Town Hall Theatre in Galway city, ‘Bringing It All Back Home’ is a series of ten short-form digital pieces created by a panel of Galway-based artists who have engaged with residents where they researched, wrote and presented digital pieces inspired by those engagements.
The overall aim is to support people through the restrictive measures that have been put in place to deal with the Covid-19 crisis.
In Tuam, Greenpark Nursing Home resident Bridie Higgins linked up with songwriters and musicians Leo Moran and Padraig Stevens – formerly of The Saw Doctors amongst other bands – to create a song and music video about her extraordinary life.
