Run with a splash of colour!

FITNESS enthusiasts in Galway are invited to take part in the vibrant #BeActive Night Colour Run.

The event organised by Galway City Council will be held on Saturday, September 26 at the Ladies Beach in Salthill.

It urges the participants to run, walk, roll or dance their way through a fun-filled route while enjoying bursts of colour and a fantastic atmosphere.

This year’s event pays special attention to inclusion and accessibility with an Inclusive Colour Run at 5pm. It will have measures in place to support people that may have sensory needs associated with the colour powder.

The main 2km Colour Run will start at 6pm with a light warm-up and music session. Participants of the Inclusive Colour Run are also encouraged to join the main event.

The event forms part of the European Week of Sport running from September 23 to September 30 and is suitable for people of all ages.
