Charity motorcycle run from Galway to Mayo

MOTORCYCLISTS in Galway are invited to take part in the fifth annual Tribes MCC Charity Run to support Family Carers Ireland.

The participants will depart from Eyre Square in Galway City at 10.30am on Saturday, August 15 and finish near the coast at Carramore-Lacken in Mayo.

Riders will take a scenic West of Ireland route through Claremorris, Milltown, Kiltimagh, Foxford and Ballina to reach their destination.

The event brings the motorcycle community together while also raising vital funds for Family Carers Ireland, helping them continue providing essential supports and services nationwide.

Interested participants can join the run at any point along the route, with free camping available near the finish location in Carramore-Lacken.

“Every year, riders turn out not just for the road, but for the people and families this event supports,” said Steven McDermott, President of Tribes MCC.

Registration for the event costs €15, where all proceeds will go towards the fundraiser for Family Carers Ireland.
