Tuam-based integration and friendship group celebrates anniversary

THE Circle of Friends group recently celebrated its third anniversary in Tuam.

The integration and friendship group met at The Woolstore gastro pub and restaurant in the town and brought together people of different ages, cultures and backgrounds, with one member travelling from Tullamore for the occasion.

A note of congratulations was sent to the group by President Catherine Connolly. The note recognised the work of the group and the importance of initiatives that foster community, friendship and building connections.

The group expressed their gratitude to the local businesses, community groups and NGOs who have provide support and sponsorship to Circle of Friends since it was founded.

As Circle of Friends enters its fourth year, the group’s message remains that everyone is welcome and that friendship is one of the most important foundations of community life.
