Memories of Corofin disco reignited
AN opportunity to relive many teenage memories of slowskates in Dr Duggan Hall in Corofin takes place this weekend. During the 1980s the TÃÂr na nÓg disco in Corofin attracted teenagers from all over North Galway. Many girls were kissed and hearts broken to the unforgettable sounds of DJ Big Sam. A Corofin reunion disco takes place in Raftery's Bar, Corofin this Saturday night, July 6, where Big Sam himself will also be in attendance. The fun begins at 9 pm and all funds raised will go to the Galway Hospice.
