Young Milltown woman is stranded in Australia
EFFORTS to secure the repatriation of a Milltown woman who has tried twice in recent weeks to return home from Australia are continuing as part of the national effort to get people back to Ireland amid the global Coronavirus pandemic.
Tríona Mullahy, 27, is stranded in Melbourne after two flights she booked to return to Ireland were cancelled. She is now hoping to secure a seat on a flight organised by the Irish government that is due to leave Australia on April 12.
Speaking to The Tuam Herald this week, her worried parents Anne and Tom from Kilgevrin said they won’t rest until their daughter is home.
