Proposal to have testing base at Tuam Primary Care Centre
A PROPOSAL is being made to the local and health authorities to establish a community coronavirus testing centre at the Tuam Primary Care Centre.
Cllr Donagh Killilea, who is a member of the West Regional Health Forum, says the expansive car park at the front of the centre would provide ample space for a test centre and it would be hugely important for patients in the surrounding areas who will be referred for testing over the coming weeks. He said it would also make sense for healthcare staff who living in the area.
