Free eye health screening in Tuam
A MOBILE eye health screening van will visit Tuam town centre to provide free services to the public.
The Vision Van, supported by Vision Ireland brings a quality, reliable eye health screening and advice to local communities across the country.
The staff meet with each person to discuss any eye health concerns and carry out a non-invasive scan of the back of the eye.
“While this isn’t a diagnosis, it helps identify any potential changes and guides people on next steps, whether that’s visiting an optician, an opthamologist, or simply providing reassurance of no issues are detected,” stated Natasha O’Connor, Manager at NCBI charity store in Tuam.
The service will be available in Tuam on Thursday, May 21 from 11am to 3pm, and at the Community Comeback event in Kilconly on Friday, May 22.
