Local areas targeted again by criminals
FOUR properties in Lavally, Kilkerrin, and Dunmore were among those targeted by burglars on Saturday.
The houses are believed to have been hit at different times from early afternoon to late evening, with items such as cash and jewellery stolen.
Criminals gained entry to a house in Meelick in Lavally through the front window and ransacked the property. The incident is believed to have occurred between 4pm and 4.45pm on Saturday.
Another property hit was in the townland of Cappadavock in Lavally, where entry was gained via a rear window of a house, a burglary that occurred between 7.20pm and 8.40pm.
