Attempted theft of dogs in Athenry

GARDAÍ in Monivea are investigating an attempted theft of dogs in the Tysaxon area of Athenry at approximately 2.50pm on Thursday (July 7).

Two males in a white van were observed entering the grounds of a property where they were then challenged by the owner of the property.

Anyone who may have observed this van acting suspiciously in the area or who may have any information in relation to this incident are asked to contact Monivea Garda Station on 091-849002 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.
