Tuam hotel to re-open on Friday

New owners to make improvements in coming months

TUAM’S town centre hotel will reopen this weekend under new management, after it closed a month ago.

The Corralea Court Hotel has been acquired by HotelsProperties.com, a property development, management and hospitality group with operations ranging from small B&B guesthouses to large hotels in Ireland and the UK.

The landmark building in the town, known to many as The Imperial, had been previously run by Bernie Naughton since 2013, until she decided not to renew her lease and closed the property at the end of February.

There had been fears that the property might lay idle in the Square for some time; however, it has been quickly snapped up by its new management group.
