Online planning service will be piloted in Galway

FOR the first time, planning applications to Galway County Council can now be made online.

The Council is just one of two local authorities piloting a new e-planning service, which it is hoped will make it easier and more efficient for all parties to avail of many of the Council’s planning services.

Planning agents can register for the service and set up an account which will also allow for online payments. People can apply for full planning permission, outline permission and retention via the online service.
