Children’s letters lift hearts of nursing home residents
PUPILS from a local national school brightened up the days of many residents of Central Park Nursing Home in Clonberne during the lengthy lockdown due to Covid-19.
Fifth and Sixth Class pupils of Lavally NS, outside Tuam, put their letter writing skills into practice and penned letters to those living in the nursing home. The residents were so thrilled by the act of kindness that they responded and wrote back letters of thanks to the children.
