New wheels needed for Clonberne teen

Fundraiser target is €20,000

THE family of Clonberne teenager Liam Mac an tSaoi are looking to acquire an upgraded mobility vehicle for him.

Liam was born prematurely at 23 and a half weeks in September of 2010. He was born with a metabolic disorder called PKU (Phenylketonuria) and chronic lung disease. He had to have his left leg amputated in his early years, much of which were spent in hospital.

Aged 13, Liam is growing, and a new wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) is required to cater for his needs.
