Galway face rivals Kilkenny in camogie semi-final

THERE may be no trophies at stake on Saturday when Galway and Kilkenny clash in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie semi-final at Semple Stadium (throw-in 3.45pm) but the clash between two modern rivals will guarantee supporters arrive early to the Thurles venue.
It’s the second part of a triple-bill that culminates in the All-Ireland SHC semi-final replay between Waterford and Kilkenny.
Cork and Wexford, who meet in the day’s first camogie semi-final at 2pm, may have won ten out of the last 11 All-Ireland crowns between them but the opening game carries a big fight feel as pundits and observers are split down the middle about who’ll emerge.
