Thieves target mass goers

MASS goers have been warned by Gardai to be wary of leaving any valuables in their cars when parked outside churches or when visiting graveyards.
The warning came after thieves smashed windows in a number of cars outside St Patrick’s Church, Cortoon on Sunday morning and made off with items including mobile phones.
The thieves struck in broad daylight while people were attending 11 am Mass and others were waiting for a number of christenings in the church.
