THE SUN finally returned to the playing fields on Sunday but against the backdrop of the beautiful scenery that showcased the south west, Galway’s League campaign was still covered by clouds after this disappointing defeat. It’s not all doom and gloom for the Tribeswomen whose journey takes them to Armagh on Sunday. But following two defeats, their trip to Ulster now feels like a 'must win’ encounter.
And there can be no getting away from the fact that Galway were clearly second best. Kerry did have a strong line-up featuring four All-Stars. While a new look maroon and white side, who’ve seen major changes over the winter, were still without injured captain Tracey Leonard while centre forward Louise Ward joined the casualty list.
