Late morrissey goal helps limerick see off galway u21s

LIMERICK put a firm halt to any loose talk of a Galway 'clean sweep’ and bridged a 13-year gap since their last Bord Gáis Energy All-Ireland U-21 final appearance thanks to an impressive six-point semi-final win at Semple Stadium, Thurles on Saturday evening.
Hurling may be riding the crest of a wave in Galway at the moment with September 6 a date ringed in red for both senior and minor finals. Any hopes of setting up an U-21 decider six days later came unstuck, however, as a slicker, far more cohesive Limerick side proved just too good on the evening.
