Generous community spirit gives new life to cloughanover centre

COMMUNITY spirit has proved the key to success in Cloughanover where the newly extended community centre was officially launched this week.
Cathaoirleach of Galway County Council Cllr Mary Hoade was on hand on Monday to plant a white birch tree in the grounds of the revamped facility, which has undergone a major transformation over the past 12 months.
The €200,000 development has involved a new meeting room being built to the front of the existing building, which was first opened in 1982.
