North galway cyclists take to the saddle again for irish hospice

TWO North Galway men will take to the saddle in eight weeks’ time on their latest charity cycle in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF), having already raised almost €30,000 for the cause over the past four years.
Gerry McGrath from Togher and Gearóid Garvey from Glenamaddy will embark on the annual Kingspan IHF cycle challenge in Italy in aid of the Nurses for Nightcare programme, which helps people with terminal illness to remain at home.
The group of cyclists from all over the country will travel 600 km from Genoa to Rome over five days, with both men covering their own costs and all donations going directly to the Irish Hospice.
