Corofin milliners creations wow at fashion awards

A BUSY mother of four has gone from sewing headpieces at her kitchen table to taking a prestige Milliner of the Year award.
Corofin’s Caithriona King was speechless after her name was announced at the Fashion Innovation Awards in Galway last week. The talented designer “couldn’t believe it” and has been inundated by well-wishers and messages of congratulations ever since.
Caithriona was thrilled to have joined some of the leading Irish milliners on the awards shortlist and told The Tuam Herald she was “stuck to the seat and shaking like a leaf” when she heard name called out as the winner.
