Chocolate has taken over my life

AFTER spending 11 years working in accounting, Helen McFarland took a big career leap and entered the world of Willy Wonka.
It might be some time before her bungalow in Lavally, about eight miles outside of Tuam, turns into the next Cadbury World but her talent for making irresistible, melt-in-the mouth, lip and finger licking chocolates certainly has customers crowding her weekly stall at the Galway Market.
Helen is a native of Co Tyrone but is adamant that she has no yearning to return and has made her home in Lavally for nearly ten years now. The idea for her making chocolates came out of necessity as much as her own culinary creativity.
