Shop is still searching for its lucky local lotto telly bingo winner

WHILE Dublin celebrates the winning of a whopping €86 million in the Euro Millions Lotto, some lucky person in Tuam has still not claimed a less impressive but nevertheless valuable €2,000 won in a Telly Bingo ticket purchased in a Tuam shop over two weeks ago.
The lucky Tuam ticket in the Telly Bingo game, which is operated by the National Lottery, was purchased in Mannion’s Mace, Milltown Road but so far all efforts to trace the buyer have failed. Now as the days go by there is a danger that if the money is not claimed within the specified period it will be put back into the coffers of the National Lottery.
