Mrs Brown’s Boys are the new kids on the block, according to the song about the phenomenal success of the Brendan O’Carroll TV show. Now the boys who had a hit with that song earlier this year in both Ireland and the UK will be back in Galway in concert on January 2 when Foster & Allen will be belting out that hit and all their others for their fans at The Clayton Hotel.
While the video for the song was recorded in Dublin’s Moore Street and Temple Bar areas with the final scene beside Dublin Docks, the idea for this hit, which has been huge with radio listeners in the UK in particular, originated in New Zealand, says Tony Allen.
