It's been a very positive start to life under new manager Padraic Joyce and Damien Comer's return has been one of many significant factors in Galway's current well-being.

Hamstring trouble subsequently ruled him out of Galway's recent trip to Meath, but Comer is back and available for selection ahead of Sunday's high stakes clash with Mayo at Pearse Stadium.

Herald Sport spoke with Comer on Monday about his injury struggles, a new role at 11, this weekend's clash with Mayo and his new business venture.
