Happy to be back behind the bar

PUBLICANS throughout Co Galway and further afield breathed a sigh of relief on Monday, because after six tumultuous months, where they were forced to shut their doors due to government regulations, they were at long last given the green light to reopen their businesses.
The proprietor of the Man of Aran on High Street in Tuam, Jimmy O’Grady, expressed his joy that his and staff were back in action.
He said: “We are delighted to have opened our doors on Monday afternoon after a long and difficult six months of closure. We are delighted to be back doing what we enjoy most and look forward to welcoming our customers back in the coming weeks."
