Appeals Board asked to quash batching plant plans for a second time
AN Bord Pleanala is being asked to overturn a decision made by Galway County Council that granted planning permission for a concrete batching plant at an existing quarry in Belclare.
The application is the second attempt by Mortimer Quarries in Mayo to secure permission of the development. A similar application was granted by the Council in 2006 but was subsequently refused by An Bord Pleanala.
