FIVE blackspots in Tuam have had 2,580 parking fines issued for illegal parking in the vicinity over the last four years, according to data received by The Tuam Herald under the Freedom of Information Act.

From and including 2016-19, High Street, Bishop Street car park, Dublin Road, the Shambles car park and Shop Street accounted for the overwhelming majority of tickets written up in the town.
