All-Ireland heroes support Corofin to Croker cycle

ALL-Ireland Club Football Champions Corofin are appealing to supporters to get on their bikes to help fundraise for home-improvement works and additional care needed to help a young boy in the parish live with as much freedom as possible.
Nine-year-old Tomás McLoughlin has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and along with his ongoing multi-disciplinary and medical care needs, considerable work is needed at the family home in Corofin to ensure Tomás can get about, inside and out.
Mum Ann Marie says Tomás requires 24-hour care and the family doesn’t qualify for a respite package. A survey of the home has estimated the necessary adaption works and installing an accessible washroom at €100,000.
Both Tomás and his dad Shane are big fans of footballing heroes Corofin and the club is backing the ‘Croker to Corofin’ fundraising cycle taking place on Sunday, August 4.
