New super-school on greenfield site for Tuam

THE Department of Education has agreed to a proposed new 32-classroom primary school in Tuam which would see three of the town’s primary schools amalgamate.
The new education campus is earmarked for a greenfield site but won’t be in place for a number of years. However, its confirmation is also good news for pupils at the cramped Tuam’s Educate Together NS which is being allocated extra space.
