A TALENTED sister and brother from Sylane got the rare opportunity to take over the stage at a Christmas concert in Galway and wowed the audience at the recent A Capella Knights concert.

Ava and James Spellman aged ten and eight spent the previous few weeks practicing their version of the festive themed song 'When Christmas Comes to Town' which features in the animated movie The Polar Express.

The concert 'The Knights Before Christmas' was held in Galway Cathedral and helped raised funds for Galway Simon who are helping support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Ava and James also got to perform for President of Ireland Michael D Higgins and his wife Sabina, who were in attendance for the magical evening.

The sister and brother are big fans of The A Capella Knights and have attended their concerts for the past four years. The siblings were thrilled when the group invited them to sing at the concert.
