TUAM man Shane Grogan has returned home for his first visit in almost six years, after his family availed of the weekend sunshine to bring him home.
Shane was attacked in an assault in the town in August 2012 that left him with a severe brain injury. He has required round the clock care since then and is currently living in Greenpark Nursing Home, less than half a mile from his family home on Shop Street.
