One hundred couples avail of hypnobirthing classes at Portiuncula

HYPNOBIRTHING classes are a relatively new service for parents-to-be in Co Galway and there are now several midwives in Portiuncula.

Over the past two years, 12 midwives working in the hospital have completed a Diploma in Hypnobirthing. The HSE West says approximately 100 couples have taken part in hypnobirthing classes at the hospital to date and the classes are very much in demand.
