Lauren's winning entry

THE winner of the competition to switch on Tuam's Christmas Lights on Saturday evening is Lauren Hynes, Palace Fields, Tuam.
Lauren's entry in the colouring competition was picked by a panel of judges out of scores of entries.

Eight-year-old Lauren is a second class pupil at Gaelscoil Iarfhlatha in Tuam.
The standard was so high that it was decided to award two runner-up prizes, to Amelia Fusciardi (6), Parkview Drive, Tuam and Eanna Lee (8), Kilkerrin.
The Tuam Herald and Tuam Lights Up wish to thank all who entered, and hope they will enjoy this year's Christmas display.

Lauren and Santa will turn on Tuam's Christmas lights on Saturday, Dec 5 at 5pm
