Ashford Estate’s hotels ranked among the Best in the World

THE ASHFORD Estate in Cong is celebrating a double triumph in the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards, with both of its properties once again recognised among the best in the world.

The five-star Ashford Castle has climbed to seventh position in the ‘World Resorts’ European category, the highest ranking of any Irish property in this category.

Its sister hotel, The Lodge at Ashford Castle, has also been ranked among the best hotels in the world, placing seventh in Ireland in the World Hotels category.
